February 5, 2012:

     Today was a great day of worship. Robert Bishop, and Casey and Amanda Shaffer were baptized today.. Dee and Jodi Whitt became our newest members! Please remember to pray for each other!

 

Feb 4, 20102:  LOLO,  the ladies' group had their meeting today,  over 30 attending.  Kathy Hickman led a painting class after the devotion.

 

January 29th, 2012:

     The "All you need is love" conference held on Saturday went great. There was food, games, music and Bible teaching. Our guest speaker, John Thomas also spoke on Sunday Morning. 

 

Casey and Amanda Shaffer and daughter Kaylin became the newest members of the Trinity family today.

 

January 22, 2012:

     Bro Gene preached Luke 8:4-15, The Parable of the Sower. Andrea Marsh came forward to join our church family. Please remember to pray for Andrea. 

 

January 18, 2012:

     We had our annual Chili-cookoff. Lynn Hartline's "white" Chili won first prize.

 

January 15, 2012:

     Robert Bishop came forward to make a public profession of faith. Robert gave his life to Jesus Christ at the Student Winter Retreat a few weeks ago. Please remember to pray for Robert.

 

January 10, 2012:

    Funeral for James Caudill.  Visitation was at 10 am,  Funeral was at 11 am at Trinity Church.

 

January 7, 2012:

     Allen Marsh and Andrea Langford were married at West Hickman Baptist Church, Hickman Ky. 

 

January 2, 2012:

     The Student Winter Retreat at the Vineyard over the weekend was a great success. Everyone was challenged on whether or not they KNOW Jesus, not just KNOW ABOUT Jesus. 

 

December 25, 2011:

     Today we celebrate Jesus' birth, life, death, and resurrection! This is something Christians should do every day of every year. Without the cross of Christ and resurrection, we wouldn't have forgiveness of sin and eternal life. This weekend we had our Christmas Eve service and Christmas Day service! 

 

December 18, 2011:

     Derrick and Cindy Green were baptized! This was also Zac Culpepper's last day with us at Trinity. Zac has graduated from The Baptist College of Florida and is moving closer to "home" near Pratville Alabama.

 

 

December 4th, 2011:

   The MOMO, LOLO, and the kickoff for the Winter Quarter events over the weekend was a great success. Bro. Gene continued his series through Luke (Luke 6:27-30). Today's message was about forgiving and loving our enemies and those people in our lives that we might have hatred toward. 

 

November 27, 2011:

       Derrick and Cindy Green made a profession of faith and also became the newest members of Trinity Church.

 

This coming Saturday (Dec. 3rd) is the MOMO event at Bro. Gene's house. For more information click here.

 

This sunday (December 4th) will be the start of the new Small Group Winter Quarter. We will have a breakfast blastoff at 8 AM to kick off the new small group classes. There is room for anyone who wants to come join a small group class. Small Groups start at 9 AM.

 

November 13, 2011:

     Bro. Gene continued his sermon series through the book of Luke with "The Call of Levi" (Luke 5:27-32). In this passage after the Pharisees criticized Jesus for eating and hanging with "sinners", Jesus said, "The healthy don't need a doctor, but the sick do. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance (5:31-32)."

 

November 6, 2011:

     In a business meeting today at the start of the worship time,  the church voted for Allen Marsh to become full time Pastor to Students. This position was endorse by the Leadership Team recently and has now been approved by the entire church.

 

JT Patrick is the newest member of the Trinity family.

 

The family picnic was held today after worship at the Hausers.

Over 130 were attending and enjoyed football, horseshoes, hay rides, horse rides, games, and just relaxing under the trees.

 

Oct 30, 2011:

Next Sunday will the the annual family picnic at Potato Head Ranch (also known as the Hausers).

Everyone bring your lunch, a blanket or chairs, and enjoy the trees,  the outdoors, and the fellowship.  There will be plenty of games and relaxing events.  There will be hay rides and horse rides for the kids.  This is a fun day for the entire family.

 

It starts right after worship.

 

Today was a wonderful day in God's presence.

We started off with 8 baptisms and finished the day by welcoming 3 new members to the family.

The church was full.

Small Group Bible study at 9 am morning offers 7 classes for adults.  There is something there for everyone.  New classes will begin on December 3.

A big day a church with a special meal honoring Allen Marsh and Andrea Langford.  They will be married in January.  Allen is our Pastor to Students at Trinity.

 

October 2, 2011.

 

Get ready upcoming activities.

LOLO next Saturday at the church.  Noon.  Fall and Christmas crafts will be the project and then getting the church ready for the church meal on Sunday.

 

On Sunday, there will be a special meal following church to honor Allen Marsh and Andrea Langford on their upcoming wedding.

 

The Leadership Team is currently working on the budget for 2012.

A finance report for the first 9 months of 2011 is available in the church lobby.

 

Wonderful worship service today, with great music and message.  The church was full.

The Wednesday night cook-off will be on October 13:  "Not so Spooky Treats"

 

The family picnic will be on the first Sunday in November (6th) following worship at Potato Head Ranch.

 

September 11, 2011:

Second week of new quarter in Small Group Study,  great crowd.

We now have 7 classes,  

Still time to start one of the classes.

Room for everybody.

 

Great crowd in worship.

 

The canoe trip was pleasant, relaxing, and loads of fun.

The weather was wonderful.  Cool breeze, clear water, quiet woods.

The group had a great time.

The canoe trip is September 10, leaving the church at 8 AM. 

The cost is $15 per person, children under 12 are free if they ride in a canoe as a 3rd person.

Be sure to bring your lunch and drinks/water.

Great food and fellowship during the meal after worship.

 

This month is the 10th anniversary of the Hauser's coming to Trinity.

A time during the worship service was set aside to recognize these past 10 years.

 

We are collecting a special offering for the Liberian Ministry in honor of Bro. Gene's 10th anniversary.  You can still give to this cause.

 

The ladies group (LOLO) had a lock-in (yes, the adults) on Friday night with 20 attending.  They had a great time with their devotion time and crafts.  They also decorated the church for Celebration Sunday.

 

The church building experienced lightning damage earlier in the week.  Alabama Power Company had to repair the transformers on the power poles outside the building and there was minor damage to the AC units in the worship center.  The office computer and sanctuary computer along with both projectors in the worship center were all damaged.  The phones were out for a few days but are now working. The insurance company is assessing the damage.

 

Bro. James Corbitt preached during the worship service during the past 2 Sundays,  He sang a special along with the Praise Team today.

 

Be getting ready for Celebration Sunday on August 14.  

This is Trinity's 14th year and the 10th anniversary of Bro. Gene being out pastor.

Bible Study at 9,  Worship at 10, followed by a church wide meal.

 

 

Lisa Cross became the newest member of the Trinity family.  We are excited to have her.

July 3, 2011:

There will be a New Member/New Christian/ Just Interested Class for those who have recently jointed Trinity.

This will be next Sunday, July 10, starting after worship and lasting until about 1 PM.

 

The children from VBS shared during the morning worship during the opening chorus.

 

Celebration Sunday will be on August 14.  There will be lunch following worship.

We will also be honoring Cindy and Gene Hauser, for their 10 years service at Trinity.

We will send a love offering to the Liberian Mission in their honor.  We will be collecting this offering over the next month.
