Where Grace and Truth Meet

Centrifuge 2005

Centrifuge 2005, Union University, Jackson, TN
June 2005

Theme:  Masterpiece.  Based on Ephesians 2:10

There were 35 students and adults from Trinity attending Fuge, along with 600 from 39 churches.  There were groups from Alabama, Louisiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina.  Our group was one of the largest groups in this camp.

Each student was assigned to a Bible study group for study and recreation each morning, and then selected tracks for the afternoon activities.  Our students participated in crafts, drama, creative movements, water sports, battle ball, percussion, in depth Bible study, skating, and other active games.  Several of the adults joined some of these activities but rest and nap time was one of the favorites for them.  Each evening was spent in worship followed by a church group time.  Jon Gillis was the camp pastor and speaker for each evening's worship service.  The church group time was for the Trinity group to reflect on the day's activities.  We spent the time in prayer, sharing, and discussion the changes made as a result of our studies.

Several of our students used their afternoon time for a local ministry project.

On Thursday night, our group participated in the variety night activity and performed "I Pledge Allegiance to the Lamb."
