Aug 29, 2010: Be sure to check upcoming events. EVENTS This is going to be a BUSY fall. Be sure to mark you calendar for the Sunday night Bible study: "GO" a 3 session study on personal evangelism. This is for youth and adults. There will be the one study so everyone can participate.
The Bible studies on Sundays and Wednesdays ahve been pointing to individual outreach and responding to God's call to us for this, both as individuals and as a church family.
Aug 22, 2010:
The members of the Bruski family from Romania were the guests are Trinity Church. They are involved in Belief in Motion ministries there. Aaron Bruski brought the morning message. The other family members shareda about their experiences and ministries with the orphans, street children, helping the homeless, and reaching out to several villages in their area.
The Trinity family gave $3500 in support of the ministries. This was their third visit to Trinity.
![]() August 21, 2010: The annual canoe trip on the Blackwater River was both a fun day for all ages in the church and a wonderful outreach as we had many visitors as part of the 62 on the river. This is always a special fun day for the kids, youth, and adults.
There was a brief rain shower for about 5 minutes to cool everybody down, but the river was clear, the water was comfortable, and the day was fun. For pictures: CLICK HERE
![]() August 15, 2010:
The children enjoyed a wet, rainy, day at the pool at Camp Victory, but as Bro. Gene said, when you are in the pool, does it matter if you are wet.
This was their reward for earning points in Bible study. They have been working for several months.
The canoe trip will be next Saturday, Aug 21. Meet at the church at 7:30, we will be leaving around 8 as a group going to the Outpost. Directions and information about what ot bring are included: CLICK HERE
Be sure to bring plenty to drink and your lunch.
Be watching for the new changes coming in the near future for Sunday morning Bible study. These are going to be exciting changes and will involve everyone.

Each day this week Trinity served about 90 Geneva High band students at lunch.
This has been an annual outreach for the past several years.
We were happy to have them here.
Last Sunday we rejoiced with the Foster family during worship with baptisms.
Glenn, Cynthia, and Jonathan were baptized.
July 22, 2010:
The annual family canoe trip on the Black Water River is set for Aug 21.
Sign up sheet is in the church lobby.
Children under 12 must have an adult with them.
Youth who are attending without a parent will need to have a signed permission sheet.
We will meet at the church at 7:30 to leave by 8.
Bring your lunch, snacks, sun screen, and plenty of drinks. Coolers will fit in the canoes.
This is a fun trip for youth, children, and adults. It is a fun day on the water.
If you flip your canoe and can't swim, you simply stand up (the "river" is not deep).
July 18, 2010:
Bro. Gene continues to preach from Ephesians on Sundays. Today covered Ephesians 1:18.
The Wednesday night series is a verse by verse study of Romans.

The children will be having a special trip to Kaylees Play Castle later this month. Each child participating will need to bring a signed permission slip, these are available at the church.
The family/youth canoe trip will be coming up next month.
Be watching for the date for this.
The church will be providing lunch for the Geneva High School band during the week of July 26.
The adult Sunday Morning Bible study groups are helping provide the food. Volunteers are needed to help with the meals each day.

July 4, 2010:
Bro. Gene's sermon was from Galations 5:1, "Freedom"
Lynn Hartline and Faye Smith sang a special.
A special thanks to all the volunteers and workers for VBS 2010, another great year.

We had great crowds each night and they kids, youth, and adults had a great time.
The family groups visited with Joseph each night and were directed by the various characters around the church.
They had a great time in the marketplace and had plenty of opportunities to spend their "money" and make crafts.
We praise God for the decisions made during the week.

Another big crowd for VBS. The children visited Joseph (Bro. Gene) in the prison last night, tonight he was in the palace.
The children meet various characters around the church as they visit the different places in Egypt. For recreation tonight they were use hoola hoops to lasso creatures in the Nile River. The kids and youth seem to be having a great time (so do the adults).
The Bible studies revolve around the theme of "One God." The children had to report on God sightings during their day.
June 28, 2010:
A big crowd for the first night of VBS: children, youth, adults. Fun, games, Bible study, costumes, food.
There will be additional registration on Tuesday night also.

June 27, 2010:
Bro. Gene returned to his sermon series from Ephesians, covering chapter 1, verses 13 and 14. This was the 4th sermon on "In Him."
Everyone enjoyed a special music time today with the congregation picking the hymns. Frances Reynolds and Amy Warr provided the music for this. Even the youth were involved picking out some of the "old ones," including: I'll Fly Away, Victory in Jesus, Something about that Name, and several other of the familiar hymns. Zack promised another time of choosing the hymns.
The church is decorated for VBS, starting tomorrow. The worship center has been converted into an Egyptian palace. ( Bro. Gene seemed to like the throne during worship.)

June 20, 2010:
Father's Day at Trinity was concluded with a baby dedication of Piper Lee and Harper Tinsley, daughters of Ruth and David Tinsley.

June 6, 2010:

Trinity welcomes new members: Glenn, Cynthia, and Jonathan Foster.
![]() The TOM (Trinity on Missions) yard sale was a big success. Approximately $1300 was raised for the teams missions projects.
The team has been quietly busy working on several projects to assist other churches in the area with building and reconstruction projects. These funds will be used to purchase materials and supplies for these projects.
Allen Marsh begins his first week as camp pastor for Centri-Kid. He will be gone for the next 8 weeks.
Several of Trinity's college students and youth will be spending all or part of their summer working at Camp Victory.
May 30, 2010: Chantel McCormick was recognized as a graduating senior, from Paxton High School.
We welcome new member Elisha Wheatley, the newest member of the Trinity Family.
![]() The yard sale to benefit the mission team activities will be this Saturday, June 5. Drop off you items in the front hall or the children's activity area (old sanctuary).

![]() M-Fuge: The adults and students will be leaving in 2 weeks for the University of Mobile and a week of service in the Mobile area.
This week will be one of outreach and and opportunity to minister to the needs of many in that area.
Be praying for the group as they make preparations for this trip.
Allen Marsh is leaving this week to spend the summer as camp pastor for Centri-Kid. He will have the opportunity to preach and teach hundreds of kids and adults each week. Make this effort part of your regular prayers.
Camp Victory is gearing up for a summer of hectic activities. Several of our college and high school students will be serving there all summer. As Bro. Gene says, "This is the real deal."
The Perkins family and Amy Warr (members of the Trinity Family) are staff members at Camp Victory.
We will have many of our own children attending camp there also.

The graduating high school seniors were recognized today:

Allen Marsh, is reading scripture and gave each of the seniors an "Experiencing God" Daily Devotion.

A wonderful crowd for Mother's Day and Children's Dedication Sunday
Mrs. Mary Cook was the honored as the oldest mother today.

He had previously be licensed for the ministry by Trinity Church. He graduated from the Baptist College of Florida in December, 2009, and was named as Trinity's Minister to Students and Youth. He also teaches at Samson High School.
Bro. Gene's sermon was from the book of Deuteronomy.

May 2, 2010, will be a special worship service as the Trinity Church family ordains Allen Marsh for the ministry.

Two new exciting studies have begun. The book of Ephesians will be covered during Sunday morning worship times. Bro. Gene covered Ephesians 1:4 today
Romans is the study book on Wednesday night in the adult session. This will be a verse by verse study (this will take a while) and involves lecture and discussion time. There will be an extended prayer time following the study each Wednesday night.
There is a need for adult volunteers for the Field/Fun day on May 15. The sign up sheet is at desk in the lobby.
April 18, 2010:
Today started a new study/sermon series from the book of Ephesians.
Bro. Gene will be preaching in-depth studies from this book.
The ladies of the church had a great weekend for their annual LOLO retreat at Panama City Beach. This was their 7th year. 44 participated in the weekend. Samantha Adams led the study during the Sunday worship times, and Sara Tew led the music.
![]() Bro. Gene has started a Wednesday night study from the book of Romans. This will be a detailed verse by verse study for the adults.
Volunteers are needed for May 15, from 9 to 12, for the Family Field and Fun Day. This will be open to the community and is for all ages. There will be activity stations around the church and the yard. A portion of the gospel message will be presented at each stop and the participants work their way through the activities.
