Mission Projects in the Past
These are some of the mission projects that Trinity Church has been involved in over the years. In most of these projects, Trinity members were active participants. In some, Trinity finiancially supported one or more of the participants. Those marked with * had Trinity members as active participants.

1998*: Jamaica, Medical Ministries International
A group of Trinity members spent two weeks in St. Elizabeth Parsih working with MMI. This project provided medical services to the population of this area of Jamaica.
1998*: Belem, Brazil
Horace Newman worked with a group from Indiana building an orphanage.
1998*: TeamEffort, St. Petersburg, Florida
A group of teens and adults spent a week in St. Petersburg working in a deaf community. Much of the time was construction and remodeling. There was also time for witnessing and sharing in the community. The teens had learned several activities in sign language and had the opportunity to have an intense sharing time with the residents of the community.
1999*: Jamaica, Medical Ministries International
A group of Trinity members returned to Jamaica for another two week medical services project.
1999*: Wyoming Summer Project
A group for Trinity joined two other churces in a work project and revival at several Baptist churces in the Casper, Wyoming area.
2000*: Castlebury, AL
In the spring of 2000, Chuck and Martha Jo Bounds and several teens spent the week in this community in southwest Alabama. Chuck was the pastor of Trinity at that time. They worked in the Castlebury Baptist Church painting during the day along with visitation in the community. During the evenings, they led a revival for the church.
1999: Summer Beach Project
Trinity helped support Andrea Howell during a summer long college student outreach program at Panama City Beach, Florida.
2000*: M-Fuge, Mobile, AL
M-Fuge is a missions camp for teens. The Trinity youth used their summer camp to participate in VBS, social ministry in nursing home and retirement centers, clean up in day care centers, and recreation ministries in apartment complexex.
2000: Kazakhstan
A group of college students spent the summer in this central Asian country working with outreach and evangelism to college students there.
2001*: Camp Victory, Alabama
A group of teens and adults assisted during the spring clean up time at Camp Victory, preparing for the summer Bible camp program.
2001*: Thailand and Burma
Sara Arnold was a participant in this project that visited and ministered in both of these countries including the refugee camps along the border. This included visits to the Karin Christians, orphanges, and visits to the historics sites of the Judson ministries.
2002*: Brazil
Hope Archey worked with a group for several weeks in churches and revivals in several cities.
2002 to 2004: Lesotho
Amy Giles worked with the International Mission Board at the Beautiful Gate Orphange.
2003: New Orleans
A student group from the Baptist College of Florida spent part of their Christmas break in an outreach program in New Orleans.
2004*: Camp Victory, Alabama
Several teens spent part of their summer working as "CITs" assisting with the summer camp program.
2005*: Camp Victory, Alabama
Noah Arnold, Peter Arnold, and Nathan Hauser spent several weeks working at Camp Victory.
2005*: Jamaica
Lindsay Abbott was part of group that provided support and VBS programs in Jamaica.
2007*:
Special Summer Missions, 2007:
Casey Emerson and Kalep Roberson spent six weeks in Romania working with local ministries, schools, and orphanges.
Noah Arnold, Peter Arnold, and Nathan Hauser worked at Camp Victory.
2008*:
Several of our high school and college students worked at Camp Victory. Noah Arnold and Nathan Hauser were counselors. Peter Arnold, Eli Jones, Kellon Anderson, and Hailey Santini were CITS.
Kalep Roberson spent several weeks in Romania serving in orphanage ministries there.
