New Orleans Mission Trip

 

 

 

 

 

 30 Members from Trinity and 6 members from Maple Avenue Baptist Church traveled to New Orleans to participate in a four day mission trip.  The Mission Team stayed at Berean Bible Church in New Orleans. Berean was part of the 20% of New Orleans that did not flood during Hurricane Katrina. The group is standing in front of the canal that flooded the lower ninth ward. After arriving in New Orleans the group split up into four different teams. There were 2 construction teams working on two seperate homes that had been destroyed by Katrina, there was also a street evangelism team that handed out food and witnessed in the french quarter, the last team was working at a Rescue Mission preparing food for the homeless.  Many hearts and lives were touched on this trip. Please pray for those we left behind in such terrible conditions and pray for us as we prepare our hearts to return.
