![]() The students lived on the campus of the University of Mobile. The photos in the picture folder are sites around the campus including the dorms, worship center, and scenes of the campus.
There were approximately 250 participating in M-Fuge, representing 20 churches from 7 states.
The students and adults were divided into project/Bible study groups based on the choices of ministry activities.
Each morning started with a quiet time and then Bible study in groups followed by the AM show. This was a time of music, humor, and worship to start the day.
At 10AM, each project group met together again and left in caravans to the sites around the city for the day's work. The group had lunch at the sites, and returned to the campus at 3 in the afternoon. Everyone had free time to enjoy the pool, gym, game room, or nap time before the evening meal. The rest of the evening consisted of worship, church group devotion (each church youth group met together to review the day's events with their adults), and a evening fun/fellowship time.
The projects included:
Creative Ministry. These groups visited nursing homes ,day care centers, church day camps, homes for mentally handicapped adults, and retirement centers. They sang for the residents, performed skits and dances, played games, face painted, and interacted with the local groups. These teams visited two sites each day.
Social Ministry. These teams visited some of the same type of areas as the creative groups but spent more time with games and interaction. They also visited two sites per day.
Construction/Yard Work. These teams assited in neighbors with yard work, clean up, and painted. Some of the teams worked with Habitat for Humanity with actual construction.
Games/Recreation. These teams went to the same site everyday, usually a boys/girls club or a chuch day camp in inner city areas. They organized and participated in games and activities for the children and conducted Bible study.
Children: These teams helped with VBS at various locations and with recreation and game time at children's centers, usually in inner city and low income areas.
Monday
Day of travel.
We arrived at the University around 2 PM, and checked in.
The kids signed up for their activities for the week.
Our kids and adults are participating in all of the different ministry activities.
There was a brief worship time followed by introductions.
Everyone then met with their assigned group and planned the activities for their groups for the week.

The pool has been available, and the air conditioning works well.
Wednesday.
Did we mention that it is hot. Check out the picture file, new ones have been added.
Thursday
Work continued at the project sites.
No issues, no injuries.
The group had an extended free time during the afternoon. Everyone went to the mall, indoors, with air-conditioning
Friday.
Last day of cramp wrapping up the projects. Next week a new group will be in to repeat the visits to these sites.
Several decisions for Christ made at the sites.
One of Trinity's youth made a decision for Christ during the day.
Each night was spent in worship with everyone at camp, followed by a time for the youth group to have discussion and prayer about the day's events.
